We are excited to announce that we have recently undergone a name change! Formerly known as St. Francis Old Catholic Church, we are now proudly called St. Francis Community Church. Wondering why the change? Let us explain.
Over time, it became apparent that our previous name led to confusion among individuals who associated us with the Roman Catholic Church. We want to emphasize that we are an independent church that adheres to the liturgy and teachings of The Old Catholic Church: Union of Utrecht. In order to avoid any misunderstandings and make it simpler for everyone to differentiate us from the RCC, we made the decision to adopt our new name, St. Francis Community Church.
This change reflects our commitment to building a welcoming and inclusive community where people from all backgrounds can gather to worship, grow spiritually, and form deep connections with one another. Our focus remains on living out the values and teachings that are integral to our faith.
Join us at St. Francis Community Church as we continue our journey of faith, united by our shared values and dedication to fostering a vibrant and loving community.
